Bargain Box Fabrics is a chain of retail outlets catering for the needs of the home dressmaker. All stores carry dress fabrics, haberdashery and patterns, many provide additional features such as sewing lessons and demonstrations. Franchising began in Victoria in 1980. There are now over 50 franchised stores throughout Australia. Franchisor support includes Franchise Advisory Council, newsletters, conventions, management and financial advice, signage and stationery, store layout, merchandising, operations manual and training.
